Consider the most successful actors and actresses you know and most have a common persona that carries across all of their films.
One professional sales trainer touched on this in his book noting that in listening to several successful salespeople he was able to actually feel the difference. Not so much the words they say but how it made the listener feel. He added that they seemed to act natural with the common trait of simply being themselves.
