reverse mortgage newsA close friend of mine in New York made this phrase stick in my mind. After flying cross country and getting settled in his apartment we talked about our plans for the coming days. To my surprise I found he had already made a list of must-visit locations: the Museum of Modern Art, Rockefeller Center, Grand Central, Coney Island and numerous pizza joints that have a legendary reputation in the city. My friend’s list had been built years before my arrival from years of client outings, personal activities and meeting business contacts. Today he continues to update it. I often tease him and say ‘add it to The List’. Which brings us to the question, what is on your list? In today’s age of computers, tablets and smart phones I would still recommend making your ‘List” on an old fashioned notepad. I have already begun my list and categorized it by vacation destinations, restaurants, landmarks, personal goals and professional business ideas. Professionally what are some items we could add to our list for 2015? Here are just a few ideas.

1- Professional enrichment. Here we can add ideas such as personal coaching, social media training, conferences, a blogging course, continuing education, our e-learning course Reverse Basics. Don’t be picky, just jot down anything of value that comes to mind that will increase your value and knowledge professionally.

2- Personal goals. If our personal life is not improving our professional life will follow suit…
