I wonder how many of these are pre 10/2 case numbers?

The answer is easy. All but perhaps a small percentage are HECMs with case numbers assignments dated before 10/2/2017. We will not begin to see the vast increase in case number assignments that took place in September 2017 reflected in endorsement numbers until January 2018 at the earliest. January should see the highest impact from the September increase followed by February and some even in March.
