  1. while I also believe that social security may not fullfill the promises of funds I hoped to receive, I do believe that the HECM has a lot to offer the proactive seniors who want to cover all their options. Why not use their home equity as insurance, an annuity or for peace of mind. Stress and worry will shorten their golden years.
